On Sunday, November 27, 2022, Ademola Adeleke was sworn in as the sixth executive governor of Osun state. He made numerous significant adjustments soon after becoming governor, including: Three kings who had lately been installed by his predecessor, Adegboyega Oyetola, were deposed by him. He fired not fewer than 12,000 recent Oyetola employees via executive orders, as well as the chairman and members of the OSIEC (Osun State Independent Electoral Commission).
