Any attempt by Buhari to use surreptitious moves in other to hand over power to one corrupt Atiku Abubakar should be resisted.

Buhari to Abubakar is the height of nepotism! This two are fulanis and have not proven to be administrative geniuses, so why should power revolve around them?

Actually, correct. The power vultures did that for power sake, just the same way emilokan agbado did with his Muslim Muslim ticket.
Re: Atiku: Afenifere Backs G5 Governors by sonature1: 10:04am On Nov 30, 2022
Everyone should remember that in 2023, Atiku Abubukar and Rabi'u Kwankwanso contested for the president of Nigeria after M. Buhari finished a disastrous tenure of 8 years. This decision brings to an end the unwritten power-sharing arrangement between north and south.

This means that anyone can contest for the president of Nigeria, irrespective of where you come from. After all, Nigerian constitution only recognises the 36 states and the FCT, not the two regions.
Re: Atiku: Afenifere Backs G5 Governors by AfonjaConehead: 10:04am On Nov 30, 2022
Tinubu is to blame...he also is against power sharing cos he's a muslim who should not succeed an outgoing 2yrs term muslim president.

Atiku said if tinubu who is a muslim campaigns, then he too will join on...tinubu has always been an agent of destabilization...he destabilized the HoR with Tambuwal, did same with Ambode, doing same now with Buhari.

I feel sorry for Atiku. Atiku had his chance in 2003. He did not grasp it.
He decamped to ACN in 2007 and was given the presidential ticket. Unfortunately, there was no way OBJ would let him win.
In 2011, after the death Yar'Adua he ran back to the PDP to claim the ticket shouting zoning that a northerner should complete Yar'Adua's tenure. Unfortunately, the ticket went to Jonathan.
By abandoning the ACN to run back to the PDP, he burned that bridge.
Come 2015, he ran back to ACN now APC, but because he had burned that bridge there was no way he could get the presidential ticket. So the ticket went to Buhari.
Come 2019 he ran back again to the PDP, asper only a northerner can topple Buhari, he got the ticket but no way for him.
Now we're heading to 2023, it is the turn of the South but he gazumped the process to emerge with the ticket, alienating Peter Obi a southerner in the process and refusing to listen to the G5 governors' request.

Atiku IMO is fighting a losing battle and time is running out for him.

I support Atiku because of his restructuring agenda. Not more nothing less.

Tell that to SE delegates that voted for Atiku..

There’s equity in Nigeria, maybe there’s no equity between Pdp & SE..

When it was time for them to fight for presidency ticket, they chickened out and ran away from the party they’ve been serving for long..

Atiku is a trouble shooter who detests the southern part of Nigeria.

All the presidential elections contested by Atiku were geared towards power to his northern Nigeria.

Afenifere is right on this one. How can a core northern Fulani hand over to another core northern Fulani while the whole south and Middle belt cowers in fear?

Atiku should withdraw from the 2023 presidential elections.

Peter Obi is supposed to balance the equation.

where is it written in the constitution of the federal republic of nigeria that "a core northern Fulani shouldnt hand over to another core northern Fulani"?

There can't be equity, fairness and justice in a nation where there is no unity and egalitarianism.

In 300+ years of USA existence, hope you there are several states and regions that have not produce president for once, even when father and son once ruled the country.

Music to my heart!

Atiku and Tinubu’s presidency will set dangerous precedence that will not be well for Nigeria and might change Nigeria forever.

Atiku’s presidency will give the north the impression (a real one) that they can switch the presidency among themselves with useful southern idiotic region to always help them. They used Southwest in 2015. They are hoping to use Southsouth in 2023.

On the other hand, Tinubu’s presidency with his Muslim Muslim ticket will give the Muslims the impression (a real one) that they can install the president of Nigeria by themselves and that they can do without Christians. The implication of this is that Christians might not stay quiet anymore. That’s even excluding Tinubu’s frail health, drug history and a past shrouded in secrecy.

Only Peter Obi’s ticket is viable and balanced enough to fly. Then talk about equity and fairness and justice for Southeast as added advantage.

Add competence, capacity, character etc

If G5 and the PDP refused to settle their wahala, PDP won't get it right till eternity because in the next coming elections the rotation will continue to favour the APC except we have another party to rescue us.

Afenifere should face their front.
How's Tinubu unelectable?

The 2011 Jonathan outing didn't go against sharing formula abi?
Afenifere are the worst hypocrites. The north beg GEJ not to contest in 2011 so that a northerner will complete the 4 years of Yaradua, the south refused.
In the 16 years of PDP the north only had 2 years.
No southerner has the moral rights to tell Atiku not to contest.
God bless Atiku the in-coming president of Nigeria

Atiku's greed is his greatest undoing. His failure come 2023 is inevitable.

It's time for the G5 to make their intentions known. Obasanjo has spoken, Afenifere has spoken, and more will continue to speak.

I support Afenifere again..

Atiku usurped the PDP Southern Presidential mandate.

Remember that Atiku fought GEJ in 2015 that it was turn of the North to produce president. Atiku then decamped from PDP to APC to support Buhari, the then Northern candidate .

Any Southerner that votes Atiku is naïve in Nigeria politics.

Moreover, Atiku is Fulani just like President Buhari. Voting Atiku to take over from Buhari is a great insult to quota system, federal character and rotational presidency which define the attribute of equity, justice and fairness as practiced in Nigeria.

Vote Peter Obi, the most competent Southern candidate, to take back Nigeria.
