i still cant beleive that the gunners has been gunned down down down, What were they looking at? i think they should have all blocked their goal post instead of making attempt to score

^^@Goldie - A fake United fan. . .First, it's Man. United, United or fully Manchester United; Man U was coined from the word "Manure" by leeds/liverpool fans to mock one the club's greats Duncan Edwards, and during the munich air disaster in 1958 - http://community.manutd.com/forums/t/4772.aspx

Also, the slogan is "Man United for ever" not ". . .for life". Only bandwagoners use that term which is related to Arsenal's "Gunners for life". . . Any one claiming to be a United fan should at least know such history alas. . .

@OP, wonderful display by the lads today; Ando was just a clown tryna confuse Scezcny (sp) during Rooney's set pieces, Nani has to improve his decision making skills in the final third, the back-line was awesome but Da Gea needs to buck up real quick albeit he made some super saves today (no chance for the second goal though), and Rooney + Young combo was just terrific. . .All in all, it was a good win today!

PS - I'd 8 - 2 be an Arsenal fan right now. . .

Despite all the injuries and suspensions Arsene Wenger still put together a team that fought against a well balanced Man Utd but lost to a better side,we all saw it coming but don't write AW off because nobody is the history of the club has achieved so much but blame it on Arsenal board that sits of every penny collected on any player sold and tell AW cock and bull story, In Wenger i still trust and believe!!!!
Re: Manchester United Vs Arsenal (8 - 2) On August 28th 2011 by mojounited(m): 11:53pm On Aug 28, 2011
^^I don't think you can call the United side against Arsenal "a well balanced team". . .United are in rebuilding process but they have a good load of players with experienced background to help build up the talented and vibrant young lads. I'm not tryna take anything away from the gunners due to thier injury woes and suspension to key players, but may I remind you that Vidic, Rio, Rafael, Carrick, Valencia, Owen are all out injured with the likes of Fletch, Fabio and Chico just returning - which means there're just yet to hit top form. To cap it all off, United played with a more younger squad in average, and Arsenal, even with their best players in top form, have mostly been on the receiving end of this rivalry fixture for the past 3 or 4 seasons hence nothing new in this regard.

The fact remains that United, unlike Arsenal, have a very deep and experienced squad, with a winning mentally instilled by one of the greatest gaffers in the history of the game, that will see them through to the end of the season. The EPL is not a sprint, it's a marathon. . .and Wenger knows this but he refuses to do the needful during transfer windows is just beyond me.

The last time I remember was the 7-1 drumming of Roma in the CL. I guess the circumstances were different, considering it was the 2nd leg and we were already going through after the first four or so goals.

wenger has been disrespectful to epl. why on earth will every other club in epl be buying good players and wenger is busy selling? does it mean these other coaches are fools while he is the only wise man in epl?
man u have done arsenal fans very good thing in this game as it will force that stingy frenchman good reasons to buy not only players but quality players.
the only coach that posts profits every season and remain in the top 4. this is a very good time to inform him that you can't eat your cake and still have it.

Re: Manchester United Vs Arsenal (8 - 2) On August 28th 2011 by airmark(m): 1:09pm On Aug 29, 2011
Reasons for arsenal's scandalous loss:

1. man utd used 13 players instead of 11 to start the match.

2. Arsenal players trekked from london to manchester to play.

3. The ball used was too heavy.
