'You shall not commit murder
(i.e. do not commit unjustified, deliberate homicide).'

Matthew 5:21
'“You have heard that it was said to the people long ago,
‘You shall not murder,
and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’'

The 6th Commandment, as seen in Exodus 20:13 and Matthew 5:21, seen above there, both clearly states:
'You shall not commit murder' and 'You shall not murder'

Now, suicide, of course, is murdering oneself, and so, establishing if suicide is a sin is going to be subject to interpretation, and whichever interpretation it is that prevails will be based, on the function of the circumstance, that the suicide happened.
