I was on a trip to the East recently. On the Okigwe - Owerri road about the Mbano area We observed this drainage being constructed to help this persistently bad portion of the road. We really wonder at the engineering and whether this can solve the situation.

Can this be compared to Lagos street drains. And this is a federal highway.
