Joan Laporta and his board are clear that Barcelona will not be messed around. The recent controversies show that the club do not have problems in complaining and will go until the very end with something they consider unfair.

That is what they felt about Lewandowski's suspension. He was sent off against Osasuna and was issued with a three match ban for supposedly disrespecting the referee.

According to 'Marca', Barcelona believe that the Polish striker's punishment was too harsh. At the same time, they do not think it is fair that Ancelotti got off scot free when he said that Real Madrid only got a draw against Girona because of an "invented penalty".

Another issue that Barca are upset about is the salary cap imposed by La Liga. The club believe that La Liga president Javier Tebas should have shown "greater flexibility" last summer.

Barcelona, like Real Madrid, will not attend the La Liga assembly in Dubai. They do not have any presence in UEFA either as they are against the European Super League project.

And if that were not enough, their Champions League elimination has caused more tension with UEFA, partly because of the bad refereeing they suffered at the Giuseppe Meazza in the important clash with Inter Milan.
