HON. OBINNA EGU DISTRIBUTES FREE DRUGS AND MEDICATION TO UMUOHIAGU HEALTH CENTER.

Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ngor Okpala constituency in 2023 Imo State House of Assembly Election, Hon. Obinna Egu PhD has once again exhibited uncommon magnanimous sense of effective representation as he doled out drugs and medication worth millions of naira to Umuohiagu community health center.

While handing over the medicaments to the management of the government owned community health care giving facility in Umuohiagu area of Ngor Okpala LGA, Hon. Egu noted that he is sensitive to the yearnings and feelings of his people, hence the need to use his personal contact to facilitate such initiative that will offer free medication to sick patients within Umuohiagu and neighboring communities through the Essential Drug Revolving Fund (DRF) of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

He reiterated his resolve to always provide basic amenities for the benefits of the people and stated that as long as he remains in the political space would continue to partner with government agencies and private sector to bring home dividends to his people.

Hon. Egu cautioned the management and staff of the health center to ensure that the drugs are given to sick patients within their facility at “no cost”(free off charge).

In the words of the delighted Sister in-charge of the health center, Ohiri Jovita eulogized Hon. Egu for this kind gesture and promised that she will ensure that the drugs are administered to sick patients as stipulated.

Community leaders who were on ground to witness the worthwhile moment such as Okenze Clifford Obikara, and Sunny Madu President General of the Community in their separate remarks also showered praises on Hon. Egu. They described him as a worthy son of the soil and assured him of maximum support of the entire community ahead of next year’s election.

Mr Lambert Anyanwu, APC Chairman Logara/Umuohiagu Ward 11, Hon. Uba Eke, Friday Atuogeme, Community youth leader of Umuohiagu, Mr Casmir Eke (Farouk), GLO, Mr Steven and the host of many other stalwarts of APC and villagers were on ground as witnesses.
