The era of cryptocurrency mining is over, and NFT will soon follow. You did read it correctly, so if you mine, create art, or follow cryptocurrency news, this article is for you! Spread the word as much as you can; this is huge!
A significant cascading impact will result from the termination of mining from Ethereum since it will push other currencies to change. This implies that miners won't be able to profit from their labor, which will cause the market to crash. Since its debut in 2015, the Ethereum network has experienced tremendous growth. It has not only overtaken other blockchains in terms of market valuation, but it has also given rise to a robust ecosystem of services and applications. Without the recent growth of the Ethereum mining business, this ecosystem would not be conceivable. According to crypto research organization Messari, the market value of the Ethereum mining sector is currently projected to be $19 billion. When you consider that Ethereum's value at the start of 2017 was merely $1 billion, this is an impressive accomplishment. Demand for ETH miners, who are essential to maintaining the Ethereum network's stability, has increased as a result of the network's explosive growth.
It's interesting to note that the evolution of the Ethereum mining market parallels that of the Ethereum network. Both have experienced recent significant growth and hold out a lot of hope for the future. But what kind of future will miners face in light of this change?

More significantly, will the Ethereum blockchain collapse, along with other currencies that depend on it?

Your main concern at the moment might be what is changing on Ethereum. Proof-of-stake (PoS) is replacing Ethereum's proof-of-work consensus protocol. Miners won't be allowed to use their equipment or electricity to compete for prizes under the new method. To safeguard the network and collect incentives, they will have to stake their ETH. This could cause the industry to collapse because Ethereum miners won't be able to make money from mining any longer. The fact that ERC20 tokens and DeFi projects may not be able to survive without miner support has implications for other coins that rely on Ethereum's technology.

Crypto as a whole is dying. Too many bad players in the ecosystem. This year alone FTX, Alameda, Terra have lost billions in dollars of investors' fund.
