The world today has been turn into a global village and the positive impact of globalisation has been recognised world wide. Globalisation has provides a platform on which the success of great nations and kingdoms and emerging world power are built and it is a cornerstones for all international success business. Studying abroad is one of the blessings of globalisation. I will like to share some useful tips that you as an international students can use to survive in your host country.
1. Get a partime or voluntary jobs. This will provide you with relevant skills to survive in the labour market and gain valuable experience that will make you to stand out among other job applicants. It also provides you with extra income to finance your study and make it worthwhile. Partime job plays complementary roles. You can apply the attitude you get from the job-dedication, discipline, and commitment- flexibility, maturity and commitment and the skills acquired –organisational, interpersonal, analytical and planning skills to your study and simultaneously, you can apply the managerial, theoretical knowledge and technical expertise y to your work
2. Learn additional international languages. This is mostly important for international student from non English speaking countries as it allows you to integrate completely into the system and make quality friends and contact. Also, inhabitats of the host countries values their languages
3. Familiarise yourselves with job recruitment site in your host country. This will enable you to make useful contacts with your employers.
4. Legalise your stay. This will enable you to get international job and be a legitimate immigrate and avoid unnecessary embarrassment. You can legalise your stay through marriage, extension of your study to enable naturalisation

#4 is priority, without it #1, 2, 3, 5 - 9 (when u list them) are a waste of time.
