The opponents know that getting majority of Christian votes is a great advantage for Peter Obi. I am neither a Christian nor a Muslim, however, what do you expect the church to do when you disregard them with a Muslim-Muslim ticket? Peter obi has to take full advantage of that miscalculation. Anybody telll you that you can separate religion and politics is telling you a big lie. You cannot separate them. The Muslims want to rule forever, the Christians shouldn’t allow them hence it will have consequences in future. This wouldn’t have carried so much weight if APC had chosen a Christian as a running mate. Now the church generally does not only see Peter Obi as the only hope for Christians, they all have this feeling that Peter Obi is the least corruptible of the 3 major candidates. We want an emergence of a new Nigeria now like never before. Tinubu should save his rotten image and support Obi and the world will celebrate him and acknowledge his good sides because his bad sides stink like soak away. He has not understood Nigerians want his money but don't him like him as a person or for presidency. His Muslim-Muslim ticket has fueled silent revolution that even affected his state election. He is pressed like Agege bread in the south by Obi being a Christian and in the north by Atiku being a landlord. What's his expectation? The odds are dangerously against him. 1 Like |

This is the mistake you are making. There is no correlation here! Muslims have only one credible candidate during Jonathan's time. Now Muslim vote would be shared by three candidates. Obi is also a candidate of liberal and enlightened Muslims that would give him an edge.
