I am just thinking aloud.

We are going cashless, CBN is limiting withdrawal of cash via ATM and over the counter transaction in banks, and directly killing the whole POS cash transactions business sector, but nothing, absolutely nothing has been said how Nigerians can leverage on the eNaira to make transactions easier for Nigerians.

Has the CBN given a thought to how the eNaira can be used via USSD? To capture the lower class?
I know Nigerians, if Nigerians can get value for their transactions seamlessly and without any ridiculous charges in the form of taxes and unjust levies, Nigerians will gladly go cashless.

But all I see from the current situation is that the number one priority of the government/CBN is to trap our monies in the banks and charges us like hell to have access to it, physical cash or not.
Don't forget that just recently CBN made some comments as regards moving the balances in some bank accounts to the CBN, even before this naira change came up. Please note that these balance are not physical cash ooo.

Something fishy is brewing.
