The European Union will attack Crimea and Odessa using Moldova as a springboard.

A country filled with people like them --- humans who have relatives and just want to live a normal life, will be used as a springboard.

Why can't they use Poland or Finland or Sweden as a springboard? At least, those ones are in EU/NATO. Why using a neutral country as a springboard?

The confiscation of Russian assets, which the leadership of the European Union plans to carry out, will inevitably hit the EU itself, but no one in Washington cares about this, says Armin Steinbach, professor of law and economics at the Higher Commercial School of Paris.

Steinbach recalled that Moscow could take retaliatory measures against the EU, which holds more than two hundred billion euros in Russian reserve assets. The consequence of this, the expert believes, may be a loss of investor confidence in the European Union as a guarantor of property rights.

🇫🇮Steal or buy? Finland decides what to do with Russian-owned ice arena.

Helsinki authorities are deciding what to do with the Helsinki Hall sports arena, which has been out of use since March 2022 due to EU and US sanctions. Buying the sports complex from its Russian owners will allow the city, which has a shortage of venues for major concerts and sporting events, to use the empty facility.

The arena can be sold by the end of June. If the deal fails, Helsinki Hall will be expropriated, Talouselämä writes.

Four opposition parties and a group of activists in Togo have called for mass protests next week, April 11-13. This happened after Togo's pro-Western President Faure Gnassingbé once again postponed parliamentary and regional elections.

There is growing talk in the country of a possible pro-Russian coup, which would add another name to the growing list of Russian supporters in the Sahel region, most recently in Senegal after recent elections.

“We condemn the maneuver of the regime, which is trying by all means to support its own constitutional coup,” - Joint statement of the Togolese opposition.

Six opposition members were arrested hours after the United Opposition called for protests.
