NATO has failed on the battlefield now it is going for Putin's regime. Fragmenting Russia is the West's aim now.

It has always been the goal. Now they have found a willing collaborator with a large army and lots of ambitions. With the head of Wagner, they can achieve that and also undermine Russian war efforts in Ukraine. That was what Germany did in 1917 with Lenin and it was successful.

The difference this time is that the Russian people are firmly behind Putin due to the Russophobic actions of the West in the past year. There has also been no defections to the Wagner side. And unless there are high profile military defections in the coming days, it will end just that like how that of Turkey ended in 2016.

With the actions of Prigozhin, it will only end in two ways; In power or in the grave. There are no in-betweens. And if it fails as it likely looks, it will only consolidate Putin in power for the unforseeable future.
