Again, you are wrong. Taliban, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS are all based on Sunni ideology so it's well balanced. In fact, Sunnis have played more roles in Middle Eastern conflicts.

Also, the invasion of Israel might have been wrong, but if you look at the questionable process through which Britain established it, it's not a surprise that the neighboring nations attacked it. But let's leave this one for another day.

Iran looks like it has a worse human rights record because like the word "terrorism," human rights has been heavily politicized and abused. Sure, you have more freedom and liberty to do as you wish in the West and Israel than in Iran but what about what these countriez do outside their territories? What you are saying is equivalent to saying that a man that loves flogging his wife and children at home is worse than a serial killer that happens to take good care of his family while murdering dozens of people outside.

A country with good human rights record should not trample on the fundamental rights of its citizens and also, it must not terrorize other states with constant wars that kill millions and millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of people. You can say that most westerm states have excellent human rights record but USA, UK and France are far from that. In fact, USA is worse because their police still kill more innocent civilians than Iranian police.

Your write-up made sense except the last. Don't try to deceive anybody. No single nairaland supporters of Iran, Russia or China will ever chose to live in those countries. They all live in or trying to migrate to the so-called West. That's the ironic truth.

Saying you'd pick a country doesn't necessarily mean you want to go there. What I meant is that if I had to choose which set of countries is the lesser evil, I would pick Iran (even though it is also evil).

That said, I hope you know that not everyone fancies living abroad? I wouldn't mind going to any Eastern or Western country (save for those that are totally unsafe) for a tourist experience. If I had the money, I would travel all around the world but I assure you, I will be eventually burriied in Nigeria.
