Every enlightened Igbo know that the 1967 stigma is the sole reason for the fear to put an Igbo man in aso Rock.

"Aburi" was the bridge.. who burnt that bridge?
Not an Igbo man definitely
You are totally wrong. Do you know Alex Ekweme was Nigeria’s first VIce President long after the civil war. Yorubas only got to that position only recently with Osinbajo.

Nobody is punishing the Igbos, they are only playing politics of bitterness with the Yorubas who are their best partner to attain success. The last time Igbos aligned with the Hausas, Soldiers of Igbo extract killed their leaders (Balewa and Ahmadu Bello) Hausas won’t try this again.

You should ask this questions, why is it that Igbos have not been able to form a strong political party that can rival PDP or APC? Instead they choose a candidate to rival them. Yet, they didn’t know OBI will loose this election.

Your last paragraph is like a vicious circle..
Aburi is a landmark that can't be erased.. that's the bridge.,it was never broken by Igbos..
The people who broke it gifted obj the presidency on a platter..
Who says igbos couldn't be gifted even when prominent igbo persons were instrumental to PDP formation and survival for instance...

Using a second fiddle office in Nigeria setting, is the most laughable argument you can put up...
No Igbo man played more national politics than a certain man who was taunted with words like "okoroawusa".. but he was only given his certificate of return on the night after the election of principle officers...

When you don't belong to someone...it is only reasonable not to force yourself on them, but think inwardly...
That's why you are a human being.. you mustn't stick to stereotypes or programmed orders

The problem with the Igbos is that, you blamed others for your problem. When Hope your kinsman was pulling Okorocha down (the one you denigrate into Okoroawusa) you blame another man. Anyway na una get problem of leadership and political identity....make una dey sort am.

This is what happens when you lose the argument.. who doesn't fight with his brother?..mention one tribe or nation..
The point is, for all the names given to okorocha by his brethren, what was his reward for his Northern affection ?

Now that I have allowed you to win Mr Aburi, are you now happy… Since you did not know that we have over 250 ethnic tribes and only 1 took us to Aburi because of perceived ethnic dominance and agenda.

A set of ethnic motivated individuals that could not stand the possibility of a total control of the region in a different interpretation of the Aburi accord, and on this basis alone Ojokwu plunge the young country into civil war… and still his kinsmen are still on it.

Biafra itself has become a blackmail used by the Igbos against the Nigerian state...its effect has worn, to everyone, it only appears Obi and Biafra agitators just swapped icons, like rechristened the shrines and rewrote the rites, like leaving the prophet for a secular priest. They have had a switch of battle gear.

This clearly is a perfidious way of sentencing Ndigbo to the status of the bat that is neither bird nor mammal. Their fight for Biafra five decades ago was stopped but never left the memories of the Igbos...they want everyone to feel and see their Biafraness...definitely we treat them based on what they tells us they are. Not anybody's fault for giving us the identity they love most, Biafra and not Nigerian, whose fault?

Now you have stylishly agreed I don't deal with stereotypes but a general fact about the perception of Igbos. And please don't try to separate those perceptions, because nothing changed from 1967 till date... It's a general perception irrespective of other factorial interplay...
let's address what you mean by blackmail..

There's a very big difference between reawakening and blackmail...
Blackmail means you are at the crossroads to do a bidding or lose something valuable to you... The valuables in the Nigeria context could be.. 247 electricity, world class hospitals, functioning refineries, quality education, good roads, sophisticated science and technology..etc..

1. Now tell me, what value would Nigeria lose by letting biafra be? Oil ? Lol
2. There was a time, mentioning the mere word 'biafra' was a taboo in any radio/TV station up until the emergence of kanu.
what was the perception of Igbos then?

You know what treacherous behaviour means? If you do, you will know that Igbos have been by far too treacherous against the Nigerian state to deserve to be trusted with power. It's common knowledge that like never before, Igbos have consitituted the most divisive ethnic entity actively promoting the dissolution of the Nigerian state along faulty ethnic lines.

What you should also ask yourself is, has any of the state governors in the southeast performed beyond average or exceptionally well...none in recent memories? Yet Igbos present Obi a known failure as their candidate...no na

You sound more confused when you say so many things at the Same time. If igbos are treacherous, they wouldn't head the country's Apex bank over the years. (That is if you understand what treacherous means and what it means to handle a country's currency)
The simple reason is that being a CBn governor doesn't constitute a threat to balkanize the entity called Nigeria...only the highest office as perceived by anti Igbo.

Now follow my own consistency in these arguments; a perception that an Igbo presidency means realization of biafra from 1967 till date.

You are talking consistency and yet you contradict yourself superbly with the CBN governor being an Igbo man and the trust by Nigeria.

Treacherous behaviors of majority of Igbos are well documented, I don’t need to remind you of many of them.

How can the attainment of Igbo presidency in 1967 connects with realization of Biafra, that was not the reason for agitation, because Igbos has it all, they are in control of the presidency, the senate and the military hierarchy.

They felt they could dominate everybody. The wars was more of a test of Igbos superiority against the rest of Nigeria and not a revolt against oppression.

You submission is absurd and insidiously balkanizing history with flimsy after-thought that bothers on self appraisal without substance which is consistent with many traits of treason exhibited by the Igbos on a daily basis as a form of grievances against the Nigerian state.

Lol. Your last paragraph proves you have been boxed to a corner having started brilliantly in the last couple of days
You ended by reacting to my last submission but didn't disprove the fact.. then when you ran out of ideas, you decided to make vague comments.. I will counter them point by point.. as usual..

I'm asking how can a treacherous man be allowed to head the CBN over the years? Or is there another meaning for being treacherous..
Come out clean... Do you mean treacherous as being the tendency to divide the country? If so, it's still the point I'm trying to prove all along that there's a perception that an Igbo presidency means actualization of biafra.. check all my submissions, I have remained consistent with practical facts..

When you say the war was a test of superiority, (although you seem to have deviated from the Crux of the discussion ) give us practical example.. because the meeting in Ghana disproves in it's entirety your postulations about wanting to be superior..only a civilized and patriotic fellow would Wana seek solutions first through the round table (aburi)

From another perspective, some of the so called biafra departments were not even headed by core igbos, so I don't get what you mean by test of superiority...

Unless what you mean by dominance is trying to use intellect to attain offices which is very laughable.. when you feel threatened a brilliant scholar is trying to take over your office, it's no issue at all...it only becomes an issue when you generate hate/maliciousness rather than working on yourself to be better.

For your last paragraph, check who has more clear cut submission, devoid of ambiguity between me and you...

I know what you are trying to do, which is all too familiar…Blame others for Igbos indiscretion of trying to dominate other ethnic tribes in Nigeria.

I will want you to answer these fundamental questions

1. Is the Nigerian civil war not about the Igbos and their disagreement with the Nigerian state?

2. Was this disagreement based on ethnic prejudice, profiling or suppression that enslaves or diminishes the dignity of the average Igbos prior to the commencement of the civil war within Nigeria and to which extent do these form of oppression merits self determination bereft of any further dialogue that make war inevitable.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9DxLjST2Tc

3. Is there any suffrage suffered by the Igbos after the civil war that clearly disenfranchised them from attaining political positions either systemic or deliberate by the Nigerian state through law or policies.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9W8SJN2nlU

4. Have Igbos not profiled themselves by been too ethnic conscious in promoting the Biafra agenda all long after the civil war, where they are technically still at war with the Nigerian state.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EE5GPBbNI-E

I know you won’t answers this questions correctly because of your stance on piously defending Biafra as a victim of oppression in Nigeria.

I have the feeling you want to win this argument with vague and beer parlor submission, I will oblige you this privilege at least, you are by far the most sensible Igbo man I have ever engaged on this platform, that never resulted to insults (respect) when provoked with facts.

So enjoy you winning in peace… but remember this, when an Igbo man calls Nigeria Zoo, calls Buhari Jubril, and wants Nigeria to support OBI to become President, they should ask themselves if they have done enough to merit it.
