Pointless. Naira has no value at the moment so how many customer will they be able to attend to before the day ends. The people issuing all this advice are shallow minded. No roadmap, no framework for the new notes.

If they want to do something like this, the first step is to give naira value or introduce a very high denomination like 10,000 note with micro chip installed in it. Oh, Nigeria is not there yet. Yes, we can still use barcode that can be scanned to identify the notes. Just saying.

All those are cheap made in china technology. It doesn't take much to upgrade but then, foreign machines don't count the many dear naira note we keep using.

If a Governor needs N1billion cash, and is willing to sacrifice 10%, many bank managers will find a way.

There will even be ex senior CBN staff advising politicians on how to go about it.
