AT last, the report of the National Judicial Council (NJC) probe panel  is out. The panel shunned the evidence provided by the NSA on call logs, some say in an attempt to protect the image of the judiciary. The Nigerian judiciary has murdered sleep. But at least, the panel confirmed that Salami is a liar. A lying judge is a political armed robber.

Isa Ayo Salami, the villain who once headed the Court of Appeal, does not interest me. Salami lacks the morals of a LovePeddler, but he has considerable media power to back him up. He is a lying judge, and he has thoroughly battered the credibility of the Nigerian judiciary. Salami, a judicial robber, is worse than Lawrence Anini, the brigand who held Nigeria hostage in the 1980s; worse than Clifford Orji, proven cannibal. He goes about, like his forebears in educated crime, in an expensive suit, at the expense of a countless number of souls. He had a clique of trusted judges sitting on different cases while their colleagues had little or nothing to do. These judges were however cleared of any wrongdoing by the NJC panel.

Suddenly, the NBA have  forgotten that the NJC has powers to sanction erring judges; these are shameless charlatans. They even speak of a grand conspiracy against Salami, people who will utterly perish in their corruption, unless they repent. They have fabricated a lie: that Jonathan sacked Salami because he was afraid of losing at the presidential election petitions tribunal. These empty souls who are destroyers of the Nigerian state---these  criminals who will never see any good in Goodluck Jonathan, are going  to end up in total perdition. Jonathan won the election convincingly, and only a lunatic can say he didn’t. I support Jonathan without apology. Call me what you like: Jonathan is a hero, and no amount of propaganda by IGR parasites will blind discerning Nigerians.

When, in an interview with this writer last year, former governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni, said that the nation now had judges of fortune, he was speaking  the truth which is going to haunt the judiciary for a long time. Oni, a cautious gentleman, said that  Salami’s conduct could not be used as a yardstick to judge the judiciary. However, Salami and his god of judicial politics have murdered sleep; they are going down in history as the destroyers of the Nigerian state. And to think that the ACN speaks of justice and equity!

It is galling that these self-proclaimed progressives would  crucify the Chief Justice of Nigeria(CJN), Justice Katsina Alu, accusing him of the crime which their friend alone committed. Why are the NBA, ACN, CODER, etc, so rabid in their defence of a proven liar? Because there is no truth in them, because they are destroyers of the Nigerian state, and because they shall never know peace, even in their looting. It is the IGR of Lagos State that is behind the mad campaign. The SSS department knows about all the economic crimes committed by the so-called human rights activists, liars who befuddle the populace. I am not a human rights activist, only a writer. Oh my, what a vicious attack was unleashed on the CJN when Salami made his now disproved allegation! Of course, a lie does not take anyone farther than it is destined to before the truth strikes. Progressives my foot! These are fraudsters imposed by a power-drunk scoundrel on a befuddled populace. Fraudsters with a capital F.

The ACN has been engaging in rabid defence of Salami, its judicial saviour. A lying judge is being defended by a party of pretenders proclaiming unqualified sainthood, a band of political marauders and propagandists planning insurrection against the president, even promising to make the country ungovernable for him. If anyone foments trouble, they should be bundled into police cells, the courts, and then straight to Kirikiri. Kirikiri straight. Those who merit the death sentence should be given the death sentence, and those who deserve to die in jail should be allowed to implement their choice. Anyone who plans any insurrection against the Nigerian people must be jailed for life.

Now what should be done? The Salami verdicts must be reviewed immediately. Second, people should stop using Awo’s name to commit heinous crimes; you do NOT have to be an Awoist to be a good governor. You can add ‘ism’ to your name and fashion your own identity. At least, we have seen Aregbeism, a progressive philosophy which saw Osun being run without commissioners for eight months, and university graduates cutting grass from Asejire to Ile-Ife in Osun State, cleaning gutters and packing poo on a progressive salary of N10,000 per month.  Mr Rauf Aregbesola, a fantastic governor, is definitely not an Awoist. He is a progressive.

The progressives were imposed on party faithfuls, and those who had invested a fortune in the party, including the late MKO Abiola’s son, were silenced. Before this anomaly, however, they had battered the Court of Appeal, and yet these are the same pretenders who boasted that they had come to salvage Yoruba land from the PDP predators. And yet I take a look at Oni’s government in Ekiti and I see new universities, a health programme which made the UNDP to rate Ekiti as having the highest life expectancy in the country; countless new roads, funding for M.A/Ph.d students, paying for UME, WAEC/NECO forms; one laptop per student, etc.  Hoodlums befuddling the populace while compromising the judiciary, rigging elections in Moba, Ekiti State, with wanton violence, burning down INEC office in Ido Osi, compromising INEC staff, printing false news and celebrating drug addicts and IGR parasites, are the new progressives. I think the word progressive should protest its bastardisation by these charlatans. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

Watch out for ‘’Salami: Tactics of the progressives.’’
