Political activities in Obudu LGA nay Cross River North Senatorial District was agog recently with the arrival of Princess Barbara Agoye, Deputy Director, Diaspora Affairs, PDP Cross River State.This is evidenced as the multi- talented, versatile and experienced Barbara was seen in the recently concluded Ward- to -Ward campaigns in Cross River North over the last one week.

Eyes could not believe it as the Obudu celebrity daughter who recently returned from U.K leaving the rest of her family abroad was seen in the grassroots where she was aggressively campaigning for the likes of Senator Sandy Onor, Sen. Jarigbe Agom, Amb. Peter Akpanke, the Solid Rock and Mr John Ukwu.

One of the smartest and overall organized daughter of Agoye family was seen hugging women around the village as she knelt in humility paying her respect to the elderly, to young and standing relentlessly with other PDP candidates in Cross River North Senatorial District. She went from ward to ward in her normal tomboy look yet extremely focused on touching one life at a time.

Princess Barbara who the Deputy Director Diaspara Affairs, PDP and member of the Protocol Department of the campaigns is vastly very experienced having worked in the PDP, Legacy House Abuja for years. One can’t help but wonder who has successfully convinced the brilliant power house to give up her luxury life abroad to return home to her people to work with PDP even against Governor Ben Ayade. Recently, she was sited at the INEC office Obudu where the PDP State Chairman, Barr Vena Ikem was there to pick up his PVC. The Inec staff eulogized her even as she wasted no time by going straight to ask very pertinent questions from her INEC experience .
