I was having a conversion with a friend about the Slave Trade that took place accross africa arouns the 16th century.during this period Africans were tortured, abused, raped, killed and their continent exploited.

Now imagined Africans e.g Nigeria where in the position of the Europeans, and Europe had all the resources africa had presently.

would they have stopped the slave trade and allowed the Europeans to be free.

They wouldn't have stopped the slave trade. Greed, intolerance, hatred for one another would have made it an unending cycle.
