Many non-lagosians here will not understand what the bursary is. It was a program that gives all indigenes of Lagos state free education and a stipends I think 25,000 in Lagos state owned universities and colleges and I remember that the verification was very solid, very hard to cheat the system. Atleast one of the parents must be and indigene and your linages is traced.

I imagine him putting this system in place on a national level, many people would go to school for free in their home state.

@op; you forgot to mention health. He renovated and revamped the Lagos hospitals. Many treatment are cheap or free in Lagos for old people of certain age. Eye care and prescription glasses was 100% free for the old.

It’s a shame comparing Tinubu to Peter Obi when it comes to competency. The only candidate in this contest that has displayed competency is Bola Tinubu. He’s the only governor that introduced ideas, innovations and policies that FG and other state governments copied. He’s the only one that developed his vision into a sustainable plan and mentored successors to implement and improve on the vision even after leaving office.

Peter Obi was a below average governor in all aspects. Majority of Anambra people rated his government as a huge failure way back during his tenure. Same people out of bigotry have turned around to name him a messiah. For reasonable folks like us, we can’t be fooled. Obi is grossly incompetent and shouldn’t even be running for president in a sane country.
