Suspected killer herdsmen have written to residents of some communities in Ogun state, threatening to invade their houses in a reprisal attack.

The unknown herdsmen in the notice letter threw fear into the minds of the residents of Asa, Agbon, Ibeku and Oja-Odan communities in Yewa-North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

The letter was reportedly written on Saturday 17 December 2022.

The herdsmen, in the letter which was written in English and Hausa, informed the residents of their intention to attack the communities. The notice was reportedly pasted on walls in some strategic places within the communities.

The herdsmen told leaders of the communities to expect their visitation to their homes between December and January...
