Now you're running away from your assertion because mentioning the states would expose your lies!
My Assertion is that the SW contributes NET to the federation account while the SE does not contribute NET rather the SE receives

The SE has no moral basis to call anyone parasites

There is no regional govt in Nigeria! Either federal, state or lg. Mention your state and how much it contributes! Lagos was developed with Nigeria money esp Niger Delta!

Lets restructure so that every state keep their resources and contribute 20% to run the fg, the SW and North would fight it. Your propaganda does not work anymore

Lagos was NOT developed by Niger Delta resources The first tram in Lagos was operating in 1902 before then there was a telephone link to London.

Lagos has ALWAYS contributed more than it received from Nigeria go and study the annual Colony of Lagos reports

https://www.nairaland.com/4144976/lagos-1898before-nigeria-not-oil/1

Many of you parrot this nonsense about Niger Delta money but the Truth is even before the 1914 Amalgamation Lagos was a contributor

Today there is no state , I repeat no state that contributes more than Lagos State

Abuja is what was developed with Niger Delta and (Lagos) Money

Lagos was not developed with Niger Delta money

Lagos was developed partly with Niger Delta oil money. If not so why are other SW states not 1/6 of Lagos?

The SW is ahead of every other region in human development, IGR, in manufacturing and GDP

Lagos is a contributor .It has always been
Lagos has been ahead of every part of Nigeria since 1900 .. Lagos already had electricity in 1898

We know that Abuja was developed with Niger Delta money in an even unprecedented way? Why has that not made Abuja the number one economy?

Again I have to ask your age

How long was Niger Delta oil an issue from what date to what date?

It became an issue in 1973 after the Yom Kippur war and lasted till the crash of 1983 after that until the Gulf war of 1991 for a brief period when there was the Gulf war windfall used to build Abuja

Between 1983 and when Abacha pied in 1998 Nigeria was in austerity

Between 1983 and 1991 when the capital moved to Abuja the country was broke and there was no major infrastructure across the country. In Lagos the only Notable thing was the completion of 3rd mainland that had already been built to Ebute Metta. in the 80s

So WHEN , WHAT YEARS , is this period when oil money was building Lagos .

You must know when oil became an issue in Nigerian economy and how long it lasted in the context of the history of Lagos
Many of the things the FG spent money on in Lagos were wasteful and abandoned when the capital moved; Federal Secretariat,National Stadium, National Theatre etc Those things are not what makes Lagos boom today

The oil boom of the 70s did not last as long as it did under the PDP government since 1999. The Niger Delta States since 1999 are getting more of their oil money what have they got to show for it?
In 2011 Lagos State and Akwa Ibom had similar budgets but where is Akwa Ibom today
Re: Lessons From The Second Niger Bridge - Thisday by DMerciful(m): 4:58am On Dec 23, 2022
.You will not agree but as it stands now, Lagos belongs to all Nigerians equally and there's nothing anybody can do about it.

Almost all the major infrastructures in Lagos was built by fg with Nigerian money from 1914 till date. SW should forget Lagos...its Nigerian project.

Lagos was a colony before joining Nigeria but its a conquered place so nobody can claim Lagos esp as 95% of people currently in Lagos are immigrants

Lagos is the commercial capital not because
of the Yorubas but fg so asking about Akwa-Ibom is pedestrian

Also educate your fellow Yorubas that say Tinubu built Lagos. You're conspicuously silent on that

When we talk about Nigerian money Lagos contributes to it .The SE does not . So the SE should not make noise about tolling a bridge partly built with money from Lagos

Lagos feeds the SE and has always done so

All you talk about conquered is amusing.
Look in the mirror to see who is conquered. Conquered since 1970 whining about marginalization for ever
The whole of Nigeria belongs to Nigerians we know but who makes decisions in Lagos ? Who decides how Lagos money is spent and distributed, Chinedu?

So you would choose for me what I talk about and when.?
Is this thread about Tinubu?

Why not let us talk about why they love gay porn so much in the SE? Are you running away from that?

Are you gay? Why focus on homosexxuality?

Something made you do that research. Besides I'm Igbo but not from the SE

I am not gay . Are you?

I know it is very common in the SE .

It made the front pages of Newspapers in Nigeria

and there are several threads on Nairaland

So are you one of those people who are putting Nigeria on the radar as a leading searcher for such content?

It is shaming the country so you lot need to desist

Contract of the bridge that was awarded under the GEJ administration and part payment made for it before APC snatched power. I can never laud Buhari for it.

Why didn't they repair the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway if they really want us to know that they worked.

The only aspect I applaud Buhari is the passing of the Electoral Reform Act to teach politicians like Tinubu and Atiku a lesson.
I've never met an Igbo that wasnt spiteful and devilish.

Your assessment of Igbós doesn't affect a single strand of hair from any of their head.

The inevitable truth still remains that you will die miserably of frustration from your hate and somehow, an Igbo man will still benefit from your funeral directly or indirectly. cool
