Let's now comprehend the reasons why His Majesty Igwe Nnaemeka A. U. Achebe, with his cabinet, bowed to Atiku Abubakar instead of the contrary.
As you all recall, the Igwe and many other Ibo politically exposed are still troubled by President Buhari's 5% elocution. This time, they want to avoid making the same error when they sided with the Igbo population to deny Buhari even a 5% portion of the total Nigerian vote in 2015.
Since the war's end, only 5% of Ibos, such as politicians, Igwe Achebe, and his cohorts, have enjoyed the Nigerian nation cake at the expense of the rest, 95% of the Ibos.
They hatched a plan to stop Dr. Alex Ekwueme by working with the military. Additionally, it took an Ibo man 50 years to seriously consider running for president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria because of these 5% Ibos. They do not want to see or hear that Peter Obi arrives at Aso Rock because of this.
The privileges of the 5% will end if Peter wins the presidency. "The structure they have today is the structure we want to destroy. It is the structure of criminality and produced 133 million people living in poverty. It is the structure that produced 20 million out-of-school children. It is the structure that has made Nigeria surpass India in infant mortality. It is the structure that will destroy Nigeria, and we want to destroy that structure" - Peter Obi.
Plutocracy. As we know, a plutocracy allows you, either openly or by circumstance, to become a governor or member of the national assembly or Igwe of Onitsha and become one of only the wealthy to rule. Which has become the mainstay of Igbo politics commensurable to Vice President Spiro Agnew's Baltimore politics, which President Richard Nixon called "homeland politics."
And when the youths agitate because they are dreadfully marginalized, they label them "riffraff" and unleash the police and army forces against them.

To be continued…
