If the biggest and powerful holders of funds in the bank say they want new notes for whatever purposes the bankers will do whatever they must to get it for them, you guys with the small money just have to wait. That is how it works worldwide. The new notes idea was never going to stop sophisticated, wealthy and connected Nigerian politicians, but it will make more rural Nigerians get more digital, so it will actually get more Nigerians away from cash money.
