Urgent job vacancy for Finance manager
ROLE SUMMARY
This role requires a commercially astute individual with strong planning and analysis skills, responsible for financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and internal control. The Financial Manager is also responsible for financial reporting to management and the board of directors, as well as compliance with government regulations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating and maintaining performance dashboards for different stakeholders
Developing financial models and cash flow projections
Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Tracking, reporting, and analyzing budget variances
Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance
Forecasting future financial performance
Preparing and analyzing budgets
Providing accurate financial reports to management
Ensuring compliance with government regulations
Financial risk management
Management of relationships and the company’s interests with banks and insurance companies; including loans, cash deposits, letters of credit, and insurance policies
Ultimate responsibility for all accounts payable and receivable

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of a first degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, and related fields
Membership of a relevant Professional body (Local or International) e.g., Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) or its equivalent
8+ years of related experience in financial management and analysis
Strong data analytics skills (Advanced Excel, Power BI)
Working experience in a conglomerate or multinational an extra advantage


PREFERRED SKILLS
Experience managing teams
Financial modeling and data analytics
Strong project management/development experience
Experience working with a startup or fast-growing company
Cognate experience within the banking sector or other local conglomerates.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in facilitating business loan acquisition
Experience in the use of Letter of Credit (LC)

Salary range ranging from N900,000 to N1.4m monthly based on Education and wealth of experience
