its not easy but I think Dolphins of Portharcourt did it before if I am not mistaken.looking at the likely top 6,none has gone unbeaten so insurance is a team to beat now.financially they are well motivated and the boys are young and ready to make name for themselves.dont write them off .

Rivers United, Lobi Stars book NPFL Super Six spot



Holders Rivers United secured a place in the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoff following a 1-0 win against Sunshine Stars in their rescheduled fixture in Port Harcourt on Monday.

Morice Chukwu scored the winning goal three minutes before the half hour mark.

Stanley Eguma’s side moved to top spot on the Group B table following the win.



The Pride of Rivers will face Doma United in another rescheduled fixture on Wednesday.

Second-placed Lobi Stars have also qualified for the Super Six following Rivers United’s victory.

Both teams have 30 points each, but Lobi Stars have inferior goal difference.

Doma United, Sunshine Stars and Abia Warriors are in contention to secure the remaining slot in the group.
