1. Times Square at night is a must 2. Brooklyn Bridge.... walk across 3. Bronx Zoo..... huge 4. Harlem ...125th Street /Apollo Theatre/Schomburg Center ... lots of Black history and a huge part is landmarked ... appearance cannot be changed. 5. 911 Memorial Center 6. Macy's 7. Ride the subway 8. Ferry to Staten Island ... great view of lower Manhattan Skyline. 9. Rap fan? South Bronx... where it all began .. 149th Street and Third Ave commercial area a good starting point to explore... see and feel the environment that gave rise to the music. 10. The Streets ... walk the streets to get the vibes ... the pace .... the foods ... the culture. And yes.... I deliberately left out Statue of Liberty.
