Develop an outline for a book.
Write the manuscript on paper.
Typeset the book.
Edit.
Proofread.
Write frontmatter,bibliography and index. Publish.

While writing your book, check other books on Amazon that are similar to yours. Use the look inside feature to see the TOC and layout of the books. The TOC tells you what topics similar books cover. From the books in your niche, you can get cover ideas and know how to price your book.
