how i got my answer.

3 pairs of boots equal 60 (given)

a pair of boot + a man + a man = 30
therefore a man equal 5. 20+5+5 = 30

eyeglass + a man + eyeglass = 9
therefore eyeglass = 2. 2+5+2 = 9

a pair of boot + gloves + eyeglasses = 42
therefore gloves = 20. 20+20+2 = 42



THE RIGHT ANSWER IS 10+(67*2) = 144 (corrected)


THATS IT.



The shoe is 20
the boxing glove is 20
the man is 5
the eye glass is 2.
He is putting on 2 boxing glove, 2 shoes, 1 eye glass, if you sum it up that's 87
87*2= 174
174+20= 194

Well, I beg to differ.

It's either you didn't know the answer or were checking for others sources. And don't come up with Fira09's working. It is totally flawed because he was fluctuating between two answers.

We know say the boot Na.. 20 right
We know say the man Na.. 5
We know say glass Na..2
We know say the left glove...20...

If u look @ the picture very well, u go see say the guy wore everything.. so we go first calculate everything he wear for body including him...

<< Man himself...5
<< Boots...20
<< Sun glasses..2
<< 1 left glove is 20.. add the right (20+20)=40
Therefore (5+20+2+40)=67

Double check the picture, you will see that only one left boot was given without the right boot.. therefore 20/2=10

Hence
<< 10+{67×2} =144

Apply bodmas, multiplication before addition

So it's 10 + 10 = 20

Though the correct answer is 144
