Good.. But they must pay for it in dollars.
Why the hell is Dangote refinery taking this long? It's high time we solidify the Africa petrol market.

They should also quickly complete the gas pipeline to Europe asap before turkey beat us to it.

Dangote refinary? It seems to be an elephant project, or he is waiting for the right fuel price before opening the place.
The delay is just crazy.

Why are they coming to Nigeria? Angola is an Oil rich country and richer than Nigeria by Oil to Population index or ratio. It shows Angola is also having internal problems.

Why is many black nations having problems? You have crude oil yet having energy problem. I know despite large crude oil deposit, Angola is also facing problem and cannot help Burundi.

We can all see the setback brought upon Nigeria by Yaradua with the reversal of the sales of Refineries to Dangote Consortium by Obasanjo in 2007 after a hectic battle with Labour Union.

The only thing I find disturbing in this article is that the president of BURUNDI sent an ENVOY to Buhari, i.e the president of BURUNDI considered his schedule too busy to visit Buhari in person and he sent his messenger to Buhari and Buhari received his messenger IN PERSON. If nothing, this man makes a mockery of himself and by extension, Nigerians, because of his constant uninvited global junketing. Mr Buhari show some honor to your office!

Nigeria is already working on Gas Pipeline. Soon we will convert some of our petrol guzzlers to use gas. Once the Dangote refinery starts at 650k per day and the other refineries, we will have more than we need. There is a reason why we have Lekki Deep Seaport... it's to export. Nigeria is not building for Nigerians...that is what the dumb dumb don't get. This administration is positioning Nigeria to be the KING of AFRICA. We will export fertilizers and crude, gas to Europe, and we will start giving loans to some African countries, providing relief to them, and even buying assets all over the world. Things are TOUGH now, but these are the foundations needed to CONQUER the WORLD. We will JOIN G20 in my lifetime no doubt. We NEED continuity, we need TINUBU, not a NOVICE.

I am just loving it the way Buhari and APC made their supporters the biggest fools. Angola is closer to Burundi than Nigeria and on a serious note Nigeria don't have enough fuel supplies for her citizens whereas the man who doubles as president and minister of petroleum is placing the country in a very tight corner. Schemer at work

The only way that Nigeria can meet the fuel needs of any African country is by removing subsides, and allowing the market set the price of fuel, so that the sector can have enough profit to build and operate old and new refineries.

Not this one where in order to meet our desire for cheap fuel, NNPC uses its profits to subsidise fuel for 'poor Nigerians'..leaving nothing for refineries, and gets free money from government, opening the door for chopping money, and sabotage...

Niger does not subsides fuel. Niger has a working refinery. Niger is poorer than us, yet because Niger can earn enough profit to keep its refinery working since it does not do subsidies...it can export fuel to at least 3 African countries.

Yet we have been blinded by our desire for cheap fuel to see the way forward.

If all our three main candidates are saying they will remove subsidy....then something is up.
