Tinubu: Obi Is Stingy, Atiku’ll Sell Everything by ExAngel007(f): 7:11pm On Jan 07, 2023 |
Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has taken a swipe at Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his major contenders. Speaking on Saturday at the party’s presidential rally in Akure, Ondo state capital, Tinubu said Atiku’s plan to privatise some national assets is a means to escape the “brave and hard work” of building Nigeria. He said Obi’s philosophy of saving state funds is wicked and a recipe for underdevelopment. “He (Atiku) doesn’t want to do the brave and hard work required to build a better nation. Instead, he would rather sell your birthright to the highest bidder and run off with the proceeds. He cares little that his policies and actions will impoverish you and leave you with nothing,” Tinubu said. “All he (Obi) could do was boast that he saved money. But I tell you it is a wicked parent that holds money in his hand yet allows his children to starve. “Likewise, it is a heartless governor who holds back money when people go hungry, and schools, roads and clinics go into disrepair. Neither the city-dweller nor the farmer prospered under him. In the end, he refused to save the people because he preferred to save money. “The truth of the difference between my leadership and that of Mr Obi lies in one observation. Although Lagos is crowded and Anambra has ample space, more people left Obi’s Anambra seeking a better life in Tinubu’s Lagos than left Lagos believing Obi had established a blueprint for growth in Anambra. “My people, you cannot entrust your future or that of our nation to Mr. Sell Everything Atiku or Mr Stingy Obi. But you can trust Mr progressive good governance Tinubu!”. The former governor of Lagos said Ondo has been the “economic bedrock” of the nation, promising that if he wins the forthcoming election, the state will be a direct beneficiary of his agricultural policy. “You have been the backbone of the economy and bedrock of the community. You will be honoured as such,” he said. “My agricultural plan also calls for the creation of agricultural hubs in the nation. You will be the direct beneficiary of this policy. These hubs will increase the cultivation of now idle fertile land yet also promote agro- processing businesses that will produce many new jobs and put more money in the pockets of the average person and small farmer.” “Our economic plan will make strategic investments in industry and infrastructure, giving our talented people the chance to make a good living while producing valuable goods that will improve the quality of life for those who buy them.” https://www.thecable.ng/tinubu-obi-is-stingy-atikull-sell-everything-we-cant-entrust-nigerias-future-with-them/amp 1 Like |

It's funny how Atiku's doesn't know we don't want to hear the "sell" mantra again from him . He came to Lagos to say he will generate 10 billion dollar from selling national assets that's an own goal just like Obi didn't know " we no dey give shishi " is an own goal. Well both of them are professional political prostitutes . I like how Tinubu is dealing with both of them simultaneously without sparing Obi . PDP wants to come in through the backdoor disguising as Labour. 1 Like |

Can you see the mentality of someone that is aspiring to be our President? Every forward looking developing economy have what we call rainy day savings. The Gulf countries of UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, etc. and even Morocco as well as fully developed countries like Norway do have savings or sovereign fund. Even as a human being, you do not squash all your monetary income with the hope that money would continue to flow. The saved fund help to guide helps cushion of the effects of ups and down in economy and as well as help reduced cost of borrowing. I wonder what advice the Emilokan coroner would be giving to his children on management of fund? Anyway Tinubu would not understand this as long as his conduit pipe of Lagos IGR keeps flowing unstopped. Please I urge patriotic and sane Nigerians not to allow this calamity to befall us. Get you PVC so that we can show these old crooks shege! ExAngel007: 1 Like |

Tribalism and Hate speeches divide Nigeria and here is a presidential aspirant fueling division and hate. This is the type of speech that reminds most Igbos that Nnamdi Kalu is right in his agitation for a separate country for the Igbos. Tinubu is just a bitter soul. The worst of Atiku can't go this low. |

Peter obi is stingy to corrupt fellows. We need a stingy man in Aso rock that will shut down the costs of Governance and reduce wastage. Then invest massively in education, security, power and health. Someone like Peter obi will do it. He did it as a governor in Anambra. Go and verify! 2 Likes |

If you save money. Money will save you. No nation survives without saving. You must save money for the future. All the progression countries in the world save money for the future. Even in our homes, we still save money. Am not surprised that a crook and a kleptomania like Tinubu is saying this. All he knows is stealing, looting and embezzlement. Does Tinubu knows how to run and manage a society ? He think it all about creating touts and agberos that good in extortion. That's why he is still looting Lagos State treasury till now. 1 Like |
