Q&A: What was the candid opinion of Jesus about politics?

As true Christians, our way of life should not be too far from the exact model of life that Jesus portrayed for us to live here on earth.

During the occasion of his ascension, his sad disciples who were already demoralised by his eventual physical absence and departure from earthly immanence asked him; something like this

"Master...what's your view about Politics... Bla bla bla?"

Jesus gave them a crystal clear answer.

So where are all these predictions about the upcoming elections coming from?

The Spirit or the Flesh??

God is not a politician, Jesus rejected the kingdom offer to him by devil, he rejected the offer to make him the king.
A true christian should focused on the kingdom of God.

I think its is unsafe for christians to be politically docile and indifferent, what if the government decides to make policies that puts them in harms way?

Christians should be more focused on Christ than on worldly affairs
Christians should be very involved in the politics.

Proverbs 29:2
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: But when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

In the beginning God created humans for self reliance when it comes to right and wrong but then humans weren't made to set standards for our fellow humans that's the meaning of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil {Genesis 2:17} freedom to do whatever you like as intelligent being is given eat of any tree to satisfaction! Gen 2:16
But Satan who wanted to rule over intelligent beings led a rebellion against God, he wasn't OK with the idea that each person should be free rather he wanted humans to be subjects to him since he was created to be much more intelligent and powerful than humans. So he told the first couple that it will be in their best interest if they rebel against God's arrangement so they can become rulers over all the coming generations of humans after them since they will be their procreator through sexual reproduction, the first human couple agreed with Satan and the rebels became three instantly. God told Adam and Eve that since their continue existence depends on whatever life saving information He (God) dishes out to them they will certainly die (cease to exit) after the rebellion but as for Satan whose nature differs from that of humans he will live to see how this scheme will turn out to be a complete failure and then he will have nothing else to say against God's right to rule over mankind so he (Satan) will be exterminated.
From that time on Satan has been trying to prove God wrong by introducing different system of government to humans to prove that humans can successfully rule over themselves independently of God's guidance.
If you study Government you will know all the system of government ever introduced to mankind by Satan until the 666 called DEMOCRACY was introduced.
So what has Jesus got to say about human government?
First of all let's consider what God's prophets say about human government:
King David was the most favored Israelites king but did he acknowledge himself as the rightful king over God's people?
David realized that he's just chosen to guide God's people not because he has the right to rule but because he has a personal relationship with God so the power to rule over God's people was given to him so he could lead them to the Christ, that's why David called Christ "Lord" {Psalms 110:1} when the Israelites decided to have human kings like all other nations Samuel made them understand that it's gross sin against God but God told Samuel to allow them suffer in the hands of human rulers! 1Samuel 8:7 compare to 8:10-18

When Jesus (the only rightful king chosen to rule over mankind) walked the earth he made it clear to everyone that his own government will not have anything to do with self-willed individuals because anyone who will rule with him must be chosen by his father in fact Jesus himself has little or no say in chosen his co-rulers! Matthew 20:18-23

So his co-rulers must be ready to serve the people instead of being lords over their subjects {Matthew 20:25-25} if their subjects haven't eaten then they must fast because as long as their subjects aren't having the best of life their government is worthless.

Politics is all about thieves forcing themselves over people to decide what happens in the society that's why they often turn to wars when there is disagreement among them but in God's own government all those in office must have the same line of thought along with Christ and God! John 17:22

That's why Jesus plainly told a Roman governor that his own government is no part of man's opinion {John 18:36} meaning God's chosen king must follow whatever God says is right {John 8:28-29} not what the majority of humans (who are evil in their thinking) decides which is known as DEMOCRACY.

You're free to ask any question that comes to your mind but please make your questions brief.

Thanks, God bless you and may you have PEACE smiley
