Nigeria’s biggest musical talent hunt, Nigerian Idol is back, and this time with a bang. The talent show which have discovered potential music artistes that are currently making waves in Nigeria and abroad, the likes of Mercy Chinwo, Kingdom Krosiede, Progress Chukwuyem, and many others, is here again for the eighth season.

In 2022, the show ended with Progress Chukwuyem as the winner of the season 7 after a tough musical battle with the second runner-up, Banty and Zadok, the first runner-up. Progress walked home with N30 million cash prize, a SUV, a one-year recording deal, and one-year supply of Nigeria’s favourite snacks and soft drinks.

Yesterday, management of the Nigerian Idol, hosted by Africa Magic, announced the official starting and closing date of online registrations and auditions.

According to the announcement details, the winner will walk home with mouth-watering prizes, cash prize, endorsements and of course, fame and more recognition.

Sharing the video on their social media pages, they wrote;

“Get ready to take the stage!��#NigerianIdol is back and your chance to shine is here!�✨Submit your audition online now!�� Entries open on January 14th and close on January 28th, 2023.⏳”

Steps To Successfully Register and Audition for Nigerian Idol Season 8

Firstly, visit Nigerian Idol’s website to get started. Click here.

Create an account, if you don’t have any. If you have one, just input your email and password. (You’ll need a functional email address/phone number)

After successfully creating an account or logging into, visit the audition page.

You’ll be prompted to upload a one-minute video of yourself singing your favourite song.

After a successful upload, follow the next instructions and be always prepared for the next commands that’ll be communicated to you via the provided contact details.
