Funny enough, this isn't true!! You can get V4 4runners but they are either 4 cylinder diesel engine or 4 cylinder fuel engines made for Japanese Market only, very very rare to find....and they are marketed as hilux surf in japan......

My brother that is how scare it is, it is so scarce its almost unbelievable.

It was in the good old days of Olx that I saw one....

The same thing too with toyota highlander, people don't believe that 2009 toyota highlander and above comes with 4 cylinder engine until they Mistakenly jam it!!

It's only the 2008 Toyota Highlander that comes with 3.5l v6 engine only!!

But from 2009 until date, 4 cylinder engine highlanders exists......

The day you see a 2006 4 plug 4runner it will either be a diesel engine, or it will be conversion or right hand drive (Japan uses Right hand not like Nigeria whose cars are left hand drive ).......

N.B: My comment concerning 4runner only apply to this particular model of 4 runner with this form factor, which is officially from late 2003 - late 2007/ early 2008!

Before and after this model shape, 4 runner exists globally with 4 cylinder engines!

It is only 2003-2007/8 Toyota 4 runners that have only v6 and v8 engines marketed globally, while it is sold/ marketed as Right hand drive in Japan under the name "Toyota Hilux Surf".

Although the question wasn't directed to me but let me mention some things you might want to think about.
1. Your parameters for selection are mutually exclusive. For instance, cars that are classy and have very good performance do not have good resale values, and are expensive to maintain.
2. If u are considering class, you shouldn’t look at Toyota… consider Mercedes Benz, BMW, et al.
3. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder… a car that I consider beautiful might not be beautiful in your eyes …

If that is what you mean, then 2012 toyota camry is the answer......

Toyota corolla would have been my answer but it uses CVT transmission, it was once widely reported to have a software issue with the transmission that needs a software update......kazeems here can't deal with it, if you know an expert that has guaranteed expertise If that issue arises, I may have said corolla......

Es350 is good but expensive to maintain and fuel plus resale value drops fast second only to the Mercedes benz S class....

You can use #255million to buy a brand new S class and comeback in 2years time and hear the resale value is #50 million only if the car is very neat.....

Accord 2014 is sweet to drive but cost of parts is second only to lexus es350 on that list......

The camry is the most rugged on that list and is most balanced of all on that list. If you must buy it, avoid the Hybrid version, it transmission is CVT as well.....

Buy a 4 cylinder engine 2012 Camry SE or XLE with the back ac vent, you won't regret it

My chief, what's your recommendation between accord 2012 and crv 2010 as a first car user (never bought a car before)
