The verdict was announced by the Chester Crown Court on Friday, January 13th, 2023 after five months since the case made its first appearance in court. The jury did not reach a verdict on a further rape charge and a separate charge of attempted rape, meaning he will return to the same court on June 26th, 2023.

Mendy was on trial along with co-accused, Louis Saha Matturie, and between them the pair had been accused by 13 women of sexual offences. Both men have denied all the offenses.

However, the jury were not able to reach an agreement on a count of rape and attempted rape. This means that the prosecutor has seven days to take a decision on the situation.

The incidents happened at Mendy’s mansion between October 2018 and August 2021.

Women who are almost walking about nude need no justice. Together with their rapists are classified as wild animals. They are not human beings and have no business in human courts. Dogs don't put on dresses and can engage in conjugal activities anywhere and and at anytime. Halfnaked women are not left out. Men without control have no other option than to try their luck on them. I'm in no way supporting rape of any kind. But our women should learn how to dress decently. I know that many of them will come out to condemn this comment. But there is dignity attached to womanhood which is massaged through decent dressing. You will be addressed the way you dress. My opinion. Meanwhile rapists should remember that you are accountable for every action.
