Instagram makes women depressed mostly. For women, just like their face, Instagram is their work of fiction. They design it to perfection just like an architect design a structure.

All the classiest place they've been to (of course blurring off the man that took them there), their best clothes, and targeted snippet of their best life is there. To oppress other women, and send a message to men that they are classy babes. Broke men, please stay off.

So Mr Elon, abeg talk directly. Instagram na woman paradise. I can't even remember last I was, or even posted on Instagram. I can't imagine posting pics for likes, I don't need it. To hell with validation. I validate myself via real life success, not some fake likes that an almajiri can give.

As for Twitter, just like nairaland, it's mix. It's a place to fight, and brings out the aggression in people generally. Two gentle souls may become aggressive online due to differences in beliefs, so forums are a place for anger.

Instagram has never depressed me because I only follow people and businesses who align with my principles and career goals.

So, I only see posts that make sense!

I never see hypocritical, narcissistic, and pretentious posts!

Twitter has never held even the slightest fascination for me, so I have never bothered to go there! Ever!

LinkedIn still remains my professional growth platform... Nothing personal goes there. I love it that way!

In all, I'm real enough to spend more time doing what's real and engaging with my limited circle of associates... This works perfectly for me.

So, Elon Musk's words are not for me.

I've come to the conclusion that social media has done more harm than good. It's also possible that technology has done more harm than good. Our ancestors weren't as mentally miserable as we are we.
