The former House of Assembly aspirant for Ojumo Balogun constituency in Offa local government, Otunba Yinka Ilufoye yesterday held a roadshow in Offa.

The roadshow which was aimed at showing solidarity and support for the All Progressive Congress (APC) President flagbearer, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the re-election bid of Kwara State Governor mallam Abdulraman AbdulRazaq, and Senator Lola Ashiru had hundreds of Otunba Ilufoye's supporters in tow.

The march began from the APC secretariat in Offa and ended at the residence of Senator Lola Asiru who is also vying for to represent Kwara South Senatorial District at the National Assembly under the platform of the ruling APC.

While addressing the mammoth crowd, llufoye confirmed that the walk was to openly reaffirmed his conviction that, "Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is our next president and we also want our people in Kwara, particularly in Offa that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and Senator Representing Kwara South Lola Ashiru are coming back for a second term in office."

Speaking on the rationale behind his conviction the Offa born philanthropist and entrepreneur said the three men have paid their dues in service to the society and proved beyond doubt that they have what it takes to positively change the fortunes of the country and the state respectively.

In his words, "There is no doubt that our incoming president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu towers far and above other contestants in the race. When you talk of experience, he has it. When you talk of solid and impressive network, he is in a class of his own. He is a maker of men and a detribalised Nigerian to the core.

"Coming home to Kwara, our leader, the Executive Governor of the State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has performed creditably well and deserves our support in putting Kwara State on a sure footing.

"When you look at the transformation we have witnessed in the State during the last three and half years you will agree with me that he deserves a second term as we all want this good work to continue in Kwara."

The real estate developer therefore urged all his followers to get their permanent voters card (PVC) and vote massively for all the APC candidates across board.

Receiving Otunba Yinka Ilufoye in his home, Senator Lola Ashiru lauded him for being a loyal party man stressing that the state and the country at large can only grow when everyone is committed to the collective success. He described the walk as a good gesture pointing out that a landslide victory for the APC at the coming poll will bring progress to the country and the State in particular.
