The Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, is being sued for defamatory publications by Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

Kanu alleged that the AGF defamed the IPOB leader when he claimed that the latter escaped bail and sought $20 billion in damages through his attorney, Aloy Ejimakor.


Ejimakor uploaded copies of the lawsuit on his Twitter page on Tuesday, stating that Malami’s slanderous article had harmed Kanu’s ongoing legal proceedings.
