Focus: The benchmark of Maturity

The word for today 
The exhibition of the fruit of the spirit as a manifestation of the life of Christ in the life of a man is the ultimate benchmark of maturity. Your growth is healthy if you continue to grow in grace by denying yourself at every level of life!

When the power of God comes over a man, he is transformed from ordinary to extraordinary; exhibiting the attributes of Christ. No matter who you are and how long you think you have been serving God, your maturity is a function of how much your life conforms to the life of Christ and how much His life in you affects others. 

When a man has reached the level of maturity, the following will be observed: 

🔥 He is loving and more humble!
🔥 He is selfless and compassionate!
🔥 He has overcome self-consciousness.
🔥 He has resolved to always take the path of honour and obey God at all costs!
🔥 He has decided to always allow God to have His way in all situations!
🔥 He has resolved to follow God through Christ, to walk and work in His steps!
🔥 He has an unquenchable thirst to know God!

How much has God helped you grow? 

Lord! Give me the grace to live up to your expectations in Jesus' name. Amen!!!
