I do not need a converted vehicle and I do not wish to convert one either so please show me something that is still in the original state.

Automatic Transmission would be great but will consider Manual Gearbox.

Something like shown in the pics below is what I'm looking for. The Instrument Cluster could be different though, may look like the W124's.

That's a good question. I am not sure I would classify it as wanting one so badly. It's just that it's a vehicle I have wanted to own for a long while now but didn't have the time to get it since.

Right now, I have provisions to fulfill that want, that's all.

I'm fully aware that it is a very old model vehicle, some are used as Towing Vehicles, and do not carry the effizy of the newer models. I am well settled in that antique space and I really like the old WorkHorse; bare bones, no fizzles.

Try contacting any of these nairaland auto dealers and ask them if they have any car importation links in Russia. What you are looking for is all over Russia here.... From fairly used to scraps, to frame to old models that were never used, just gathering snow in some people's old garages.

Thanks a lot for the insights, much appreciated.

I'm worried about going the foreign importation route for two reasons:

1. Cost implications; will be too exorbitant to make it worthwhile as this is just another vehicle I'm hoping to use mostly for off road interests.

2. It may not be legally allowed in because of the age.

I have come across a few here though but they have been hacked and mutilated all in a bid to force upgrade upon them. I'm looking for something decent and unmolested.
