BVAS Hidden Tech by Nobody: 2:50pm On Jan 26, 2023
A close friend of mine in INEC HQ ICT dept revealed that the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) device has a secret function that records and or videos unbeknownst to the operator (PO's). She said it was demonstrated to them by Mr. Lawrence Bayode and Mrs. Bimbo Oladunjoye, Deputy Directors ICT department. Previously it only took the photo of whomever gets access into the BVAS app on the device. She added that it's simple programming and it also has enough inbuilt storage to accommodate the size of data recorded from 8am to 2pm.
The BVAS was first deployed in Anambra for the governorship election of November 2021 and although it has its challenges, there has been improvements in subsequent elections. So far it has proved to be a game changer and like every software, updates and modifications will keep rolling in to give the best possible results. INEC in all indications has proved to be committed to a free, fair and credible elections. The power is most in the hands of the people now, recall how parties spent a lot of money buying votes on elections days in Ekiti and Osun when they realized it.

Vote not fight!
