The death toll in the bomb explosion that occurred on Tuesday night in Rukubi, a border area between Nasarawa and Benue States, has risen to 56. However, the cause of the blast is currently unknown. A resident of Rukubi, Mallam Haruna Bawa, who was at the scene of the explosion, reported that he counted more than 54 lifeless bodies. And this included four of his brothers who were affected.
