My wife wanted to withdraw N80,000 from GTB bank this morning. They told her that there is no money. They rather gave the customers there N1000 or N2000 for them to transport themselves to other banks where they could be lucky to get the new notes.

The picture of the dirty, dusty and smelly N100 notes they gave my wife totalling N2000 is attached below.

I can assure you that none of our politicians have any old notes in their possession anymore.

The old notes will the removed while a SMALL amount of new notes will be injected into the economy. Also more 'small currencies' (10, 20, 50 and 100) will be made available via bank withdrawals.
Keep wasting your energy, time and money looking for new 1000, 500 notes and 200. When you tire you will stop. Or after you exhaust the one you have, spend more money searching again and the cycle continues until common sense finally enter your head.
