A trending video has shown the moment a father resorted to corporal punishment to discipline his teenage daughter who allegedly absconded from school to stay with an older boyfriend.

She was said to be a boarding student, whose parents believed was safely in school until a family member came across a clip of her romancing a boy inside a room on Tiktok.

The family member reportedly saved the video and sent it to her father who allegedly summoned her home.

In a clip that has also gone viral, the schoolgirl is seen being flogged by a man believed to be her father while some men hold her down.

One occasion corporal punishment is justified in my opinion. But the father should not have exposed her bum. That's an assault on her dignity.
