The USA will not have state sanctioned discussions with individuals it considers criminal, for the past 4 years now, they've met with Tinubu over 10 times. You are not being realistic and sincere.
It's diplomacy that US embassy meets presidential candidates of the country the embassy is in. That does not confer cleanliness on the candidates met. Did any US court pronounce Tinubu free of drug trafficking offences? NO. But Tinubu was caught with drug trafficking money in the US. He forfeited part of the money to the US government. So Tinubu is not cleansed of drug trafficking offences. He can only be cleansed when he is tried by the court, set free, or finished jail term for the offence.
