Despite and inspite of The CBN Governor's many sins, chief of which was contesting for The Presidency as a sitting CBN Governor, his cashless policy was well intended and would in the long run allow for growth in the economy as well as protect The Nigerian Citizens from exploitation as well as transparency.

It is saddening and galling how bankers have deliberately thwarted efforts of The CBN Govenor of making the new currency available to those who actually need it i.e The traders, being chief amongst them all and we have seen videos of people spraying new currencies at parties whilst the masses groan and are running helter skelter for currency. This hardly comes as a surprise because such acts have been ongoing for decades and duplicated in several agencies as well as every sphere of The Nigerian Life.

Everything is going as planned by Emefile which I warmed here late in 2022 on how the new notes will never be of same volume of the recalled old notes.

Imagine queuing for hours only to find out you can only withdraw a limit of 20k and when it got to my turn the cash ran out but I was informed I could withdraw at the counter a maximum of mere 2k in small denominations of 50 naira. What can 2k do for anyone in Nigeria of today ? Can you even use 2k to buy fuel at its current price of 300-500 per litre after queuing for hours ?

The banks are not the problem. Yes there are currency racketeering going on but its of an infinitesimal scale to affect the money supply. The real problem is the CBN refusing to circulate new notes to banks while going back on its agreed minimum of 500k per individual per week to now a max of 140k at a daily limit of 20k.
