It's very obvious that APC does not support the Naira redesign policy..

It easily won PMB support as he feels it is a way to fight corruption. It is actually a very counterproductive way to fight it when bearing in mind the timing a. It's like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

The modus operandi was bad and the limitations of cash withdrawals from ATMs simply worsened the problem with its implementation.

Due to the sensitivity of the issue, the utmost professionalism and best practices should be applied to its implementation. It must be pro- economy, pro-business and pro-consumer. The policy so far has been the opposite of these.

Limiting ATMs to only dishing N200 was not only punitive to innocent depositors, it also increases the cost of printing notes.

Nigeria desperately needs higher denomination notes. A 5k and 2k are now desperately needed.
