PRAYER


-Prayer is the act of communicating with God with the hope that he hears us and will respond to our communication with him.

-God knows everything we want and need, but still wants us to ask, that he may give to us according to his good pleasure.

-Our prayer must come from the depth our being, our spirit. When our spirit prays, there is a flow the mind cannot comprehend but simply submits to.

-Prayer is a two-way communication, there shoud be an expectation of hearing from God on the side of the human whenever he humbles himself to pray to God.

-Prayer should be offered to our Father in heavem, not to heaven or angels or earth or anything created, but to the Father of the Lord Jesus Christ.

-Prayer should be offered in Jesus' name, because no man goes to the Father except by Christ Jesus.

-Prayer should be guided by the Holy Spirit, we should listen or wait to be guided by the Holy Spirit before we open our mouth to speak.

-He that ask recieves, we must always believe that God gives before approaching God.

-When we ask according to his will, he does what we ask. How do we ask according to God's will? God wills that we serve others with whatever we have, let our requests be based on our desires to help or spend on others.

-When we pray, our requests should always be specific, hitting the right spot, making our direct request known to the Lord. Let's be specific with the Lord.

-The Holy Spirit brings the word of God through the scripture to us as we pray, let us pray these words as revealed, not adding to or taking from it.

-It is easier to start prayers by giving thanks to God as our Lord taught us in the Lord's prayer.

-Above all, God's will for our lives is that we prosper and that our souls prosper. Let us pray that his will be done in our lives. Amen.
