I really want to have sarking installed in our new house, especially since it can get rather hot where we are building. My brother installed sarking when he did a re-roof on my parent's house and the difference is amazing like super foam usa. But I was quoted approx $4800 by the builder, at $20m2 supply and install. My brother said it costs $10m2 so that gives you an idea of the builder's markup. Unfortunately, my partner and I are not keen to fork out that much money.

We went to Home Base in Subiaco a few weeks ago and saw a display for spray foam insulation. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and how much does it cost? Is it effective?
