In preparation for the 2023 general elections, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has begun a mock accreditation exercise across the country. The Commission announced last week that the exercise would take place on February 4 to test the effectiveness of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) ahead of the Presidential and National Assembly elections on February 25.
